Covid vaccine information for staff
The second week of December (Tuesday 8 December) marked the start of the largest vaccination programme this country has ever seen and from Tuesday we began to immunise some of our patients and staff at the RVI.
Covid vaccine information for health and care staff
All local healthcare and social care workers are being offered a vaccination, which will be critical in keeping both them and patients safe.
If you a member of health and social care staff please check first with you own organisation what the arrangements are for you to receive your vaccine.
There are many different sorts of health and care providers, ranging from large NHS trusts through to small community and voluntary organisations who provide care services.
Local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are co-ordinating the details for health and care organisations to make arrangements for staff to be vaccinated. If you represent a local health or care organisation in the North East or North Cumbria, please contact your local CCG in the first instance.
Please note that vaccination for health and social care staff is being organised via employers so please do not make individual enquiries about your own vaccine to the NHS.
